Another Shutout

For the second straight game, the Dodgers were shutout. No team can win when they can't score!

Today the Dodgers and their fans learned Rafael Furcal has a bulging disc. Although the Dodgers think he might be back in July, I won't hold my breath. He might have played his last game this year and for the Dodgers. Jason Schmidt has met a setback. His shoulder is sore, so the Dodgers have stopped him from rehabilitating at the minor league level for the time being. Nomar Garciaparra might be back on June 25th.

The Dodgers aren't getting help from their injured players unless Garciaparra comes back on fire. I feel Ned Colletti must make a trade to get more offense, or the Dodgers will have a forgettable season. This team simply can't score. Tonight Derek Lowe was awesome and got the loss. This isn't fair or right. This year Lowe is pitching for another contract with the Dodgers. The Dodgers need him, but they won't re-sign him if he has a losing record.

Man, losing Furcal looks like it might cost us the season! We were doing so well before that and looked like we had a lot of room to grow!

Hopefully he can come back after the all-star break!

Tried to send some e-mail but there is some problem. I agree with your opinion about Pierre. Most of those morons that post on "Inside the Dodgers" probably think Juan is responsible for the mortgage crisis.I always look forward to your take on things, so keep up the good work.
